A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY
SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE; PROVIDING FOR THE
DONATION OF SAID PROPERTY TO PARRAS DE LA
FUENTE, COAHUILA, MEXICO; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of
surplus and/or salvage property; and
WHEREAS, two items would be of use to Grapevine's sister city, Parras de la
Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the following items are declared surplus and are donated to
Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico:
One play structure with a slide and climbers and one swing set from the Oak Grove
Soccer Complex.
Section 3. That the City Manger, or his designee, is authorized to make the above
items available to Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of November, 2008.
