A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, SUPPORTING A GRANT
APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY THE GRAPEVINE-
SOUTHLAKE SOCCER ASSOCIATION TO NORTH TEXAS
SOCCER FOR LIGHTS FOR SOCCER FIELD #3 AT
MEADOWMERE PARK AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is supportive of
efforts to improve the athletic fields in Grapevine; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association has an opportunity to
receive a grant from North Texas Soccer to provide lights to soccer field #3 at
Meadowmere Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine supports the grant
application submitted by the Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association for lights for soccer
field #3 at Meadowmere Park and agrees to maintain the lights once installed.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of November, 2008.
