A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF BASEBALL
FIELD MATERIAL; DETERMINING THAT THE MATERIAL IS
AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE SOURCE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to establish an annual contract for the
purchase of baseball infield turf mixture and conditioner for the City baseball fields; and
WHEREAS, MasterTurf Products and Services, Inc. is the sole provider of the type
of material required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.

Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes City Staff to
establish an annual contract to purchase the baseball field material for the City baseball
fields for a total annual amount not to exceed $95,000.00.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to establish the annual agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of September, 2007.
