A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY
SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE; PROVIDING FOR THE
DONATION OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE HOPKINS
COUNTY, TEXAS SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of
surplus and/or salvage property; described as 14 rugged laptop computers and associated
hardware; and
WHEREAS, the laptop computer equipment and associated hardware would be of
use to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department in a program to upgrade their dispatch
system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the laptop computers and associated hardware are declared
surplus and authorization is granted to donate the laptop computers and associated
hardware to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to make the
laptop computers and associated hardware available to the Hopkins County Sheriff's
Department.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of November, 2007.
