A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF TWO THERMAL
IMAGING CAMERAS; DETERMINING THAT THE CAMERAS
ARE AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE SOURCE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to purchase two thermal imaging cameras
as follows:
2 Each Bullard T3 Thermal Imaging Cameras $9,999.99 each, $19,999.98 total;
and
WHEREAS, Metro Fire Apparatus Specialties, Inc. is the sole known distributor of
the cameras in Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the cameras from Metro Fire Apparatus for a total not to exceed $19,999.98.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said cameras.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 20th day of November, 2007.
