RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 91-
36; AND AUTHORIZING THE GRAPEVINE PUBLIC
LIBRARY TO CHARGE NON-RESIDENT USER FEES FOR
LIBRARY SERVICES AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine wishes to rescind
Resolution No. 91-36 that established a reciprocal borrowing services agreement with
the City of Euless Public Library; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine Public Library will be giving 30 days written notice of
the cancellation of the reciprocal borrowing services agreement; and
WHEREAS, effective October 1, 2007, the Grapevine Public Library will begin
charging non-resident user fees of $25.00 for all patrons living outside the City limits of
Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct
and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That Resolution No. 91-36 is hereby rescinded by the Grapevine
City Council and a copy of the resolution rescinding the reciprocal borrowing agreement
will be forwarded to the Euless Public Library giving the required 30 day notice of the
cancellation of the borrowing agreement.
Section 3. That the Grapevine Public Library will begin charging non-resident
user fees of $25.00 for all patrons living outside the City limits of Grapevine following
the end of the 30 day notice period.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 7th day of August, 2007.
