A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR THE CITY MANAGER'S DESIGNEE TO PURCHASE A
FALSE ALARM SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
THROUGH THE STATE OF TEXAS CATALOG
INFORMATION SYSTEMS VENDOR (CISV) PROGRAM AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas is a local government in the State of
Texas and as such is empowered by Texas Government Code, Title 10, Subtitle D,
Chapter 2157, Subchapter B, Section 2157.061 to make purchases through the Catalog
Information Systems Vendor (CISV) program; and
WHEREAS, the Catalog Information Systems Vendor program, is a qualified State
program as authorized by the above referenced Texas Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, has an established cooperative
purchasing agreement with the Texas Building and Procurement Commission that
administers the CISV program and wishes to utilize an established catalog offered by the
ATO Public Safety Corporation that meets all State of Texas bidding requirements for a
false alarm software management program as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the false alarm software management system from AOT Public Safety Corporation for
a total cost not to exceed $24,800.00.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designate, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said false alarm software management
system.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of April, 2004.
