SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AN ADOPT -AN -AREA
AGREEMENT WTH THE GRAPEVINE HERITAGE AMBUCS
FOR KIMBALL ROAD, FOR DOVE ROAD NORTH TO THE
ENTRANCE OF MEADOWMERE PARK
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve an
Adopt -An -Area agreement with the Grapevine Heritage Ambucs for Kimball Road, from
Dove Road north to the entrance of Meadowmere Park. A copy of the agreement is
attached for review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt -A -Road signage would be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of
the signage for this is approximately $150 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100- 42205- 312 -3.
BACKGROUND:
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and requires the applicant to pick
up litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
approved the agreement at their April 21St meeting. The Board and staff recommend
approval of the agreement.
