HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2004-030 RESOLUTION NO. 2004-30 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE; PROVIDING FOR THE DONATION OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE MCFADDEN RANCH FOR YOUTH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of surplus and/or salvage property; and WHEREAS, soccer goals for four fields at Oak Grove Park were removed and replaced with new soccer goals purchased by the Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association; and WHEREAS, two of the eight soccer goals that were removed from Oak Grove Park would be a great enhancement to the soccer field at McFadden Ranch, the largest youth facility in the State of Texas that is located north of Roanoke, Texas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the following items are declared surplus and are donated to the McFadden Ranch, Roanoke, Texas: 2 — Steel Pipe Soccer Goals Section 3. That the City Manger, or his designee, is authorized to make the above items available to the McFadden Ranch, Roanoke, Texas. Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 17th day of August, 2004.
