HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2005-017 RESOLUTION NO. 2005-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR THE CITY MANAGER'S DESIGNATE TO PURCHASE THROUGH THE STATE OF TEXAS CATALOG INFORMATION SYSTEMS VENDOR (CISV) PROGRAM A SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THAT PROVIDES CHECK AND IMAGE PAYMENT PROCESSING AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas is a local government in the State of Texas and as such is empowered by Texas Government Code, Title 10, Subtitle D, Chapter 2157, Subchapter B, Section 2157.061 to make purchases through the Catalog Information Systems Vendor (CISV) Program; and WHEREAS, the Catalog Information Systems Vendor program, is a qualified State program as authorized by the above referenced Texas Local Government Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, has an established cooperative purchasing agreement with the Texas Building and Procurement Commission that administers the CISV Program and the City wishes to utilize an established catalog offered by Remit Plus Software, Inc/Audio Tel Corporation that meets all State of Texas bidding requirements for a software management program to provide check and image payment processing as follows: Qty. Description Price 1 Ea Remit 7000 Software $12,900 1 Ea Remit 7000 Software Installation $ 1,000 1 Ea Canon CR-180 Scanner $ 3,052 1 Ea Canon CR-180 Annual Maint. $ 500 1 Ea Upgrade to Multi-User $ 2,000 1 Ea Upgrade Installation $ 500 1 Ea Burn Daily Images to CD $ 1,000 Total $20,952 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase of the software management program to provide check and image payment processing in the total amount of$20,952. Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designate, is authorized to take all steps necessary to consummate the purchase of the software management program. Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of April, 2005.
