A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DESCRIBING THE LOCATION OF A
CITY PARK PROPERTY; DETERMINING A NAME FOR
SAID PARK AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the name of one public park within the
City of Grapevine, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it was determined that there was a need to name the one public
park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That approximately 30 acres of public park property that is located
within the City of Grapevine, Texas, being along Big Bear Creek in south Grapevine,
due west of the Service Road along William D. Tate Avenue and due south of Memorial
Baptist Church and that it be hereinafter named "Wall-Farrar Park".
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 17th day of May, 2005.
