HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2001-037 RESOLUTION NO. 2001-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXHIBIT "A", PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of items of surplus and/or salvage property; and; WHEREAS, the procedure of notification of the owners of surplus and/or salvage property, as outlined in the State Statute, has been met. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the item described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby declared surplus and/or salvage. Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to dispose of said property in accordance with State Statute. Section 4. That the vehicle will be donated to the Casa Hogar Quinta Manuelita orphanage in Parras, Coahuila, Mexico. Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage.
