RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF A FINGERPRINT
IMAGER SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR THE MANAGER'S DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine is in need of purchasing a fingerprint imager
system for the City Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories, Inc. is the only known vendor who can
supply the Krimesite Fingerprint Imager; and
WHEREAS, sole source procurements are listed as an exception to the normal
bidding procedure under Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, Section
252.022 (A).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the Krimesite Fingerprint Imager in an amount not to exceed $19,950.00
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of September, 2007.
