A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
TEXAS WHEREBY THE CITY WILL ASSUME
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STATE
SIGNALS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF GRAPEVINE AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas deems it necessary
and in the best interest of the City of Grapevine, Texas to enter into an agreement with
the State of Texas, acting by and through the Texas Transportation Commission
whereby the City will assume maintenance responsibilities of the state traffic signals in
the city limits as per the maintenance agreement between the City and the State.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City of Grapevine, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor,
enter into an agreement with the State of Texas whereby the City of Grapevine, Texas
assumes maintenance responsibilities of the state traffic signals in the city limits as per
the maintenance agreement between the City and the State.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 16th day of April, 2002.
