A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE RATIFICATION OF STAFF
PURCHASE OF A SERVER AND TAPE LIBRARY;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine is in need of a server and tape library to increase
the storage capability of computer data; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine considered it necessary to purchase the server
and tape library to insure the integrity of computer data and to protect potential damage
to existing data.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine ratifies and authorizes
the purchase of the server and tape library for a total not to exceed $17,336.93.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 16th day of April, 2002.
