A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS CONCURRING IN THE STATE'S
DETERMINATION THAT A PORTION OF THE STATE'S
RIGHT-OF-WAY IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR THE USE
OF CITIZENS AS A ROAD AND THAT THE RIGHT-OF-
WAY BE QUITCLAIMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE
REGULATIONS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the State of Texas acquired and holds in its name right-of-way on
Business 114L as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has determined that said right-of-way is no longer
needed for the construction, maintenance and operation of Business 114L; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has studied the public need for said right-of-way and have
determined that said right-of-way is no longer needed for the use of citizens as a road or
for public transportation purposes, and is not suitable for conservation, park, recreation
and/or similar purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the State's right-of-way shown on the attached Exhibit "A" is
no longer needed for the use of citizens as a road and is not suitable for conservation,
park, public transportation, recreation or similar purposes.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas concurs in the
State's plan to dispose of the right-of-way in accordance with the established laws and
regulations of the State of Texas.
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective from and after the date
of its passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of June, 2002.

BEING, 1.021 acres of land, more or less, situated in the A.F. Leonard Survey, Abstract No. 946, Tarrant
County Texas and being part of Lot 7, Ruth Wall Subdivision, an addition to the City of Grapevine, Texas,
according to the plat recorded in Volume 1878, Page 279 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County,Texas;said
tract being part of an easement tract conveyed to the State of Texas by Judgment recorded in Volume 3467,
Page 409 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; said 1.021 acres of land being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING,at a TxDOT aluminum disk found in the north right-of-way line of Wall Street(a 60 foot wide
right-of-way) at the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to the State of Texas by Warranty Deed
recorded in Volume 12641, Page 1152 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County,Texas;said point being North
89 degrees, 31 minutes, 42 seconds East, a distance of 103.1 feet from a 5/8-inch iron rod found at the
southwest corner of Lot 6 of said Ruth Wall Subdivision;
THENCE, North 89 degrees, 31 minutes, 42 seconds East, along the south line of said State of Texas tract
and the proposed north line of said Wall Street, a distance of 92.86 feet to a point; said point being the
southwest end of a proposed right-of-way corner clip at the intersection of the said proposed north line of Wall
Street with the proposed west line of Business 114 L ( a variable width right-of-way);
THENCE, North 31 degrees,49 minutes,29 seconds East,a distance of 10.69 feet to a point;said point being
in the said proposed west line of Business 114 L and being on a non-tangent curve to the right whose center
bears North 64 degrees, 35 minutes, 03 seconds East, a distance of 618.50 feet from said point;
THENCE, in a northerly direction, along the said proposed west line of Business 114 L and said curve to the
right;through a central angle of 12 degrees, 17 minutes, 10 seconds,a chord bearing of North 19 degrees, 16
minutes, 21 seconds West,a chord distance of 132.37 feet, an arc distance of 132.63 feet to a 1/2-inch iron
rod with "Pacheco Koch"cap set at the POINT OF BEGINNING; said point being on a non-tangent curve to
the left whose center bears South 32 degrees, 10 minutes,21 seconds West,a distance of 1737.02 feet from
said point;
1) THENCE, in a northwesterly direction, along said curve to the left, through a central angle of 04
degrees, 16 minutes, 29 seconds, a chord bearing of North 59 degrees, 57 minutes, 54 seconds
West, a chord distance of 129.57 feet, an arc distance of 129.60 feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod w/
"Pacheco Koch"cap set at an angle point; said point being on a non-tangent curve to the left whose
center bears South 27 degrees, 45 minutes, 21 seconds West, a distance of 1737.02 feet from said
point;
2) THENCE, in a northwesterly direction, along said curve to the left, through a central angle of 10
degrees, 39 minutes, 44 seconds, a chord bearing of North 67 degrees, 34 minutes, 31 seconds
West, a chord distance of 322.77 feet, an arc distance of 323.24 feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod w/
"Pacheco Koch"cap set in the proposed south right-of-way line of Business 114 L (a variable width
right-of-way);said point being 58.57 feet southerly of,and at right angles to,centerline survey station
141+36.34;said point being on a non-tangent curve to the left whose center bears North 08 degrees,
32 minutes, 52 seconds West, a distance of 2390.00 feet from said point;

curve to the left,through a central angle of 01 degrees,25 minutes, 26 seconds, a chord bearing of
North 80 degrees, 44 minutes, 25 seconds East, a chord distance of 59.39 feet, an arc distance of
59.40 feet to a TxDOT aluminum disk set; said point being on a non-tangent curve to the left whose
center bears North 00 degrees, 39 minutes, 28 seconds East, a distance of 500.00 feet from said
point;
4) THENCE, in an easterly direction, along the said proposed south line of Business 114L and along
said curve to the left,through a central angle of 15 degrees,07 minutes,56 seconds,a chord bearing
of North 83 degrees,05 minutes,30 seconds East,a chord distance of 131.67 feet,an arc distance of
132.05 feet to a TxDOT aluminum disk set at a point of compound curvature; said point being the
beginning of a curve to the left whose center bears North 14 degrees,28 minutes,28 seconds West,
a distance of 2897.41 feet from said point;
5) THENCE, in a northeasterly direction,along the said proposed south line of Business 114L and said
curve to the left,through a central angle of 03 degrees, 27 minutes, 17 seconds, a chord bearing of
North 73 degrees, 47 minutes, 53 seconds East, a chord distance of 174.68 feet,an arc distance of
174.71 feet to a TxDOT aluminum disk set at an angle point;
6) THENCE, South 54 degrees, 01 minutes, 14 seconds East, a distance of 46.68 feet to a TxDOT
aluminum disk set at an angle point; said point being in the proposed west right-of-way line of
Business 114L;
7) THENCE, South 00 degrees, 17 minutes, 01 seconds West, along the said proposed west line of
Business 114L,a distance of 85.25 feet to a TxDOT aluminum disk set at the beginning of a curve to
the left whose center bears South 89 degrees, 10 minutes, 18 seconds East, a distance of 618.50
feet from said point;
8) THENCE,in a southerly direction,along the said proposed west line of Business 114L and said curve
to the left,through a central angle of 13 degrees,57 minutes 29 seconds,a chord bearing of South 06
degrees,09 minutes,02 seconds East,a chord distance of 150.30 feet,an arc distance of 150.68 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and containing 44,461 square feet, or 1.021 acres of land, more or
less.
