HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2000-022 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH "EXHIBIT A", PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of items of surplus and/or salvage property; and WHEREAS, the procedure for notification of the owners of surplus and/or salvage property, as outlined in the State Statute, has been met. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That all the items described in "EXHIBIT A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby declared surplus and/or salvage. Section 3. That the City Manger, or his designee, is authorized to conduct the sale of said property. Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage.
