SUBJECT: TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF CAMPGROUND OPERATORS
(TACO) AWARD PRESENTATIONS TO THE CITY FOR
CAMPGROUND AND WEBSITE OF THE YEAR
BACKGROUND:
Brian Schaeffer, Executive Director for the Texas Association of Campground
Owner /Operators (TACO) will be presenting two awards to The Vineyards Campground
& Cabins on behalf of TACO. TACO represents the campground industry for the state
of Texas and has over 430 campgrounds within its organization.
The Campground of the Year Award recognizes excellence in operations, customer
service reviews, park promotions, directory ratings, management skills, employee
training and community service. The Vineyards Campground & Cabins is receiving this
award for the second time, first awarded in 2009.
The campground also won TACO's Website of the Year Award, which recognizes the
contemporary look and feel of the website, its ease of navigation as well as the
timeliness and depth of the information provided. The website, which includes numerous
photos, a blog, a newsletter archive and information on upcoming activities and special
events, can be accessed at www.vineyardscamr)ground.com.
The Texas Association of Campground Operators publishes and distributes over
250,000 copies of the Texas RV Travel & Camping Guide throughout Texas, the U.S.
and Canada each year,
