SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF THE GCISD BOARD EX-OFFICIO MEMBER
OF THE PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) and staff
recommend the City Council approve Mr. Jorge Rodriguez, 1918 Cheshire Drive, as the
GCISD Board ex-officio member of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Rodriguez was elected to the Board of GCISD in 2008. He and his wife Jill have
lived in Grapevine since 1995. If approved by the Council, Mr. Rodriguez will replace
Mr. Leon Leal who has served on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board for the past
five years, four years as a regular member of the Board and one as GCISD Board ex-
officio member. The Board of GCISD and staff recommend approval.
