CLASSIC HUMMER
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff has received a request from Speed.Fab-Crete on behalf of Jerry Durant and Classic
Hummer requesting a one-year extension to their previously approved Conditional Use
Permit CU08-23 for an automotive dealership with the sale and repair of new and used
vehicles, specifically to expand the site by adding acreage,allow the development of a fleet
sales building, increase the square footage of an existing parts and distribution facility and
to establish a planned commercial center to allow a pole sign 40-feet in height to expire on
October 21, 2010.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Conditional Use Request CU08-23 was originally considered and approved at the October
21, 2008 joint public hearing. The site is located at 2501 William D. Tate Avenue and
platted as Lot 1R2, Block 1R1, Classic Hummer Addition.
