SUBJECT: PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING NEEDS ASSESSMENT
WORKSHOP
Hal Sargent and and Gina Irwin from Brinkley Sargent Architects will be present to
discuss their preliminary findings from the needs assessment. The report will touch on
space needs for Police, Fire Administration, Municipal Court, Detention, Dispatch and
the EOC, potential building footprint options on Dallas Road and cost estimates.
Hal Sargent will give the preliminary findings via Power Point presentation on Tuesday.
They are working through the weekend to complete it — given our desire to do this
Tuesday instead of later in the month. Once Chief Salame gets the presentation he will
electronically forward lit to you for your review.
