SUBJECT: ADOPT-AN-AREA PROGRAM
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the City Council consider
approval of Adopt-An-Area agreement with James Loftin for the creek at Ruth Wall Road
and Katie's Woods Drive. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved the
agreement at the June 18, 2009 meeting. A copy of the agreement is attached for
review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-A-Road signage would be placed at the project area for the program. The cost of
the signage is approximately $75 and would come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
BACKGROUND:
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and requires the applicant to pick
up litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and
staff recommend approval of the agreement.
