MAR 2 6 2.009 File #: Z09-01 APR 1 4 2099 THOMPSON , CHATFIELD, JOHNSON WRITTEN COMMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 5 PM ON MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2009 Procedure to Respond: As a Property Owner within 200 feet of the subject tract, we protest and have the following comments: We protest this proposed zoning change for the following reasons: 1. Potential drop in area property values unless the design, style and lot size for these new homes are consistent with those of the existing homes. 2. Increased traffic on Roberts Road —already quite narrow— in need of widening to handle additional traffic flow. Additional traffic entering onto Roberts increases potential for accidents. There is minimal traffic/police monitoring in this area. 3. Potential increase in number of school children in area schools could provide need for tax increases, additional of portable buildings, etc. 4. Further loss of"green space" in the area.
