SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AN ADOPT-AN-AREA AGREEMENT
WITH FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH COLLEYVILLE CLASS OF 2015
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks& Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve Adopt-
An-Area agreement with First Baptist Church Colleyville Class of 2015 for the southbound
William D. Tate Avenue service road, from Mustang Drive to Skatetown. A copy of the
agreement is attached for review.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-An-Area signage would be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of the
signage for this is approximately $75 and will come from Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and requires the applicant to pick up
litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved
the agreement at their September 20, 2012 meeting. The Board and staff recommend
approval of the agreement.
