The additional routes proposed by the applicant are: Main Street Route for Local Residents Route Times: 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm, 8 pm 1. Start the tour by picking up guests at the Visitor Information Center. 2. Exit the VIC on Hudgins Street. 3. Take a right on Main Street heading north. 4. Take a right on Northwest Highway towards Fairway Drive. 5. Travel North on Fairway Drive over the dam. 6. Turn around at Rockledge Park and travel south back over the dam. 7. Enter the lake at Silverlake Marina 8. Exit the lake at Scotts Marina 9. Exit Oak Grove Park at Dove Loop Extension 10. Take a left at Dove Loop Extension to South Main Street 11. Travel South on Main Street 12. Return guests to the VIC. July 13, 2006 (9:25AM) ED - .44 July 13, 2006 (9:25AM) Main Street Route for Hotel Guests Tour Times: 9 am, 12 am, 3 pm, 6 pm 1. Start the tour by picking up guests at the Hilton DFW Lakes. 2. Leave the Hilton Hotel traveling west on Northwest Highway. 3. Enter the Embassy Suites, picking up guests at the pool side entrance. 4. Depart the Embassy Suites, exiting the main entrance at Bass Pro Drive. 5. Go west on Northwest Highway to the Gaylord Texan. 6. Pick up guests at the Gaylord Texan Tour Bus Lobby. 7. Exit the Gaylord Texan and head west on Northwest Highway towards downtown. 8. Go south on Main Street to the Visitor Information Center. 9. Turn around at the VIC. 10. Exit the VIC on Hudgins Street. 11. Take a right on Main Street heading north. 12. Travel past Northwest Highway to North Main Street. 13. Take a left on Dove Loop Extension, past Cross Timbers winery. 14. Continue on Dove Loop, taking a right into Oak Grove Park. 15. Enter the water at Scott's Landing, take the water ride to Silverlake Marina. 16. Exit the lake at Katie's Woods, proceed to the Gaylord via Ruth Wall street. 17. Take a left on Northwest Highway returning to the Embassy Suites lobby. 18. Exit the Gaylord and return to the Embassy Suites via Northwest Highway. 19. The tours have been popular and remain a safe and unique event for all ages. We have enjoyed serving and shoring off our community and it's history to local residents and visitors. The response we have received in return has been positive. The majority of locals believe that the ducks are a good fit in our community. We have been getting two thumbs up from many long time residents and our ridership continues to groin every month However, there has been interest voiced to see more of Grapevine, namely the doi%mtomm and historic areas. The Historic Donmto m Grapevine Association has also expressed a strong interest in having the ducks in doivntowwm. This packet contains hvo dountolm route proposals to satisfy the growing desire of Grape-nme Excursions, our guests and local residents. The dotntottm routes trill put Grapevine Excursions in a position that will help tate duck tours succeed. Our main desire is for you to approve the expanding routes so hotel guests and locals may experience a complete duck tour of our city. We trust you will find the information complete and favorable. The vision of Grapevine Excursions is to serve the community in a unique and positive fashion.
