RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF TELEPHONE
INTERFACE SOFTWARE; DETERMINING THAT THE
SOFTWARE IS AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE SOURCE
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SAID CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to purchase telephone interface software
as follows:
4 Ea CTX670 Strata Net Networking Application License $11,900
4 Ea 16 -Channel IP Interface Units $ 3,196
16 Ea 4 -Port License for CTX 670 $ 1,200
4 Ea 7 Year Manufacturer Warranty 240
Total............................................................... $16,536
WHEREAS, ICS Telephone Company is the current supplier of the telephone
system and the sole provider of installation for the interface software and items listed
above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the above listed software for a total not to exceed $16,536.00.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said telephone interface software.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of July, 2006.
