RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve Adopt -
An -Area agreements with the following groups. Copies of the agreements are attached for
review.
• John and Arni Haras for Snakey Lane
• Bermuda Gold & Silver for Northwest Highway, from Main Street to Texan Trail
• Historic Downtown Grapevine Association for Torian Gardens @ Liberty Park
Adopt -An -Area signage would be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of the
signage for this is approximately $120 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100 - 42205 - 312 -3.
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and requires the applicant to pick up
litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved
the agreement at their August 15, 2013 meeting. The Board and staff recommend
approval of the agreements.
