HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 13 - Surplus PropertyMEETING DATE: RECOMMENDATION: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER � City Council to consider approval for the sale of property listed in Exhibit "A" as surplus property and authorizes their sale through public auction. BACKGROUND: This request is for approval for the sale of surplus property as listed in Exhibit "A". The City currently has miscellaneous surplus items including various Christmas decorations, utility vehicles, mowers, aerator, A/C units, portable radios, mobile computers, tablets, monitors, desktop printers, tower computers, a pavement repair unit, hydraulic pump and a sewer camera system ready for auction due to item age or condition. Staff has considered age, cost of operation and/or life -to -date maintenance costs when classifying certain property as surplus. Staff recommends approval.
