RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve an
Adopt -An -Area agreement with the following group. The agreement is attached for review.
• Cori Kelly, REALTOR for Acorn Woods Park, off of Oak Grove Loop South
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt -An -Area signage would be placed at both ends of this area. The total cost of the
signage for this is approximately $50 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100 - 42205 - 312 -3.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and requires the applicant to pick up
litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved
the agreement at their September 19, 2013 meeting. The Board and staff recommend
approval of the agreement.
