APPROVAL TO RENEW ANNUAL CONTRACTS FOR CABIJHOUSEKEEPINGSERVICES
City Council to consider approval to renew annual contracts with Pure Service Corporation
as the primary and ACBMS International Group as the secondary for cabin housekeeping
services.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Funds for this purchase are available in account 119-44540-312-9 (Professional Services)
in an estimated annual amount of $52,000.00.
The purpose of this contract is to establish fixed annual pricing for cabin housekeeping
services at The Vineyards Campground and Cabins. Awarding a primary and secondary
contractor will help mitigate issues that may occur due to the nature and fluctuation of
demand based on season and occupancy of a 365 day per year operational facility.
Bids were taken in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B,
Section 252.021 (a) and Section 252.041 (a). The bid advertisement was posted in the
Fort Worth Star Telegram on February 19 and 26, 2015. The contract was for an initial
one-year period with four, one-year renewal options. If approved, this will be the first
renewal available.
Staff recommends approval.
