COMMIlatE AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 21ST DAY OF OCTOBER,

The City of Grapevine Open Space Committee convened in regular meeting
at 4 : 30 p.m. on this the 29th. day of October, 1986 , with the
following members present to-wit:
Sue Burgtorf
Ronnie Cook
Sharron Spencer
Kevin Conklin
Mark Mailes and Marcy Ratcliff of the City Staff were present.
Adrienne Leonard, City Attorney, was present.
The meeting was called to order by Sue Burgtorf.
Under Action Items, the Committee discussed expenditures for the
renovation of Dove Park, using the $280,500 that was donated as cash
in lieu of from Winding Creek Subdivision. The staff' s recommendation
is:
(1) changeover from present gas chlorine system to bleach injection
system at Dove Pool, $4 ,200;
(2) removal of existing pool bath house and construction of a new
facility, $205 ,000;
(3) construction of a large multi-use playground, $44 ,000;
Ron Cook motioned and Sue Burgtorf seconded to approve the staff' s
recommendation, following a lengthy discussion. The vote was 3 to 0
in favor of the motion.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Kevin
Conklin, and seconded by Ron Cook. All present voted aye. The
meeting was adjourned.
