SPACE COMMITTEE AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 23RD DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 1987.

The Open Space Committee for the City of Grapevine, Texas met in regular
session December 2, 1987, at 307 West Dallas Road, in the Council Chambers,
Room #205, Grapevine, Texas, with the following members present to wit:
Bill Martin Acting Chairman
Ron Cook Member
Kevin Conklin Member
Also present were guests, Lynn Meyer, George Field, and Steve Kimes, and
the following City Staff present to wit:
Adrienne Leonard Attorney, City Attorney's Office
H. T. (Tommy) Hardy Director of Community Development
Marcy Ratcliff Planner
Gerrie Taylor Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Acting Chairman, Bill Martin, called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.
CONSIDERATION OF AUGUST 19, 1987 MINUTES
Kevin Conklin made a motion to approve the August 19, 1987 minutes as
written. Ron Cook seconded the motion which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Conklin, Cook
Nays: None
Abstain: Martin
WOODSIDE ADDITION
The item of business was for the Open Space Committee to discuss business
pursuant to Section 51, requirements for Open Space and Recreational Areas
for the Woodside Addition submitted by Lynn Meyer.
Items discussed pursuant to the Woodside Park were: 1) thoroughfare
extension of Summerfield Drive to Roberts Road; 2) park location; and 3)
park topography.
After these items were discussed, Kevin Conklin made a motion to table this
item until a decision regarding the thoroughfares on the preliminary plat
are final. Ron Cook seconded the motion which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Martin, Conklin, Cook
Nays: None
The next date for the Open Space Board to meet was decided for December 9,
1987, at 4:30 P.M.
MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS AND/OR DISCUSSION
There was discussion on the Board appointing a Chairman at their next
meeting. Since Bill Martin will be out of town for the December 9, 1987
meeting, this will be postponed until the first ,of the year at the next
Open Space meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
Ron Cook made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kevin Conklin seconded the
motion which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Martin, Cook, Conklin
Nays: None
The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 P.M.
