ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17 , V.A.T.C.S. , AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227 , ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, 1969 , THE OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 3RD DAY OF DECEMBER, 1987 . DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Open Space Committee for the City of Grapevine, Texas met in regular session December 9, 1987, at 307 West Dallas Road, in the Council Chamber, Room #205, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present to wit: Ron Cook Member Kevin Conklin Member with Acting Chairman, Bill Martin, absent. Also present was City Council Representative, Sharron Spencer, and guest, Steve Kimes. The following City Staff was also present to wit: Adrienne Leonard Attorney, City Attorney's Office H. T. (Tommy) Hardy Director of Community Development Gerrie Taylor Secretary CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 4:35 P.M. CONSIDERATION OF DECEMBER 2, 1987 MINUTES Ron Cook made a motion to approve the December 2, 1987, minutes. Kevin Conklin seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Cook, Conklin Nays: None Absent: Martin WOODSIDE ADDITION This item of business was before the Open Space Committee to discuss business pursuant to Section 51, requirements for Open Space and Recreational Areas for the Woodside Addition submitted by Lynn Meyer. This case was tabled from the last December 2, 1987, meeting, for the Board to hear from Freese and Nichols on what purpose of Summerfield Drive being a collector. Tammy Hardy stated that Summerfield coming through as a collector has not been resolved yet. There was discussion on what would happen if Summerfield is extended east and if so, using two other lots to get the required open space. After further discussion, Ron Cook made a motion not to approve the open space and park land due to the fact that the plan of Summerfield Drive has not yet been resolved. Kevin Conklin seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Cook, Conklin Nays: None Absent: Martin ADJOURNMENT Ron Cook made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
