The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Regular Session on this the 31 st
day of May, 2016 in the Event Hall at The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way,
Grapevine, Texas with the following members present:
William D. Tate
Mayor
Darlene Freed

Mike Lease

Chris Coy
Council Member

constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff:
Bruno Rumbelow City Manager
Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager
Call to Order
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 5:41 p.m.
City Council to hold strategic planning workshop to determine direction and planning for
the future of the City.
Dr. Mike Mowry with Strategic Government Resources facilitated the strategic planning
workshop with City Council.
In small groups, City Council discussed how they see the City today.
As a group, City Council discussed innovation and how they see the City of Grapevine in
ten years and in 2035.

City Council adjourned the Special Meeting at 8:00 p.m.
