SUBJECT: RESULTS OF 2005 CITY OFFICER ELECTION
RECOMMENDATION:
Consider a resolution declaring the results of the May 7, 2005 City Officer Election for City
Council, Place 5 and City Council, Place 6.
BACKGROUND:
There are 26,451 registered voters in the City as of May 1, 2005. The election was held
on Saturday, May 7, 2005, with citizens casting a total of 1,540 votes for the following
candidates:
Council, Place 5 Ted R. Ware 995
Robert C. "Buck" Buchanan 536
Council, Place 6 John Kutch 323
Roy Stewart 1103
Attached are copies of the election results as well as Grapevine's voting history.
