I M A G I N U I T Y CITY OF GRAPEVINE TEXAS I N T E R A C T I V E WEB SITE RE -DESIGN PROPOSAL I N C Site Management System Imaginuity will provide City of Grapevine with the ability to manage and update each area of your web site by utilizing our proprietary site management system, ElementumTm, The Elementum1m administration system operates optimally in Internet Explorer browser versions 6.0+ running on the Windows operating system. The administration system is organized by module, which enables administrators to format their content easily and consistently throughout the web site. No matter which modules your company is using, all modules have similar robust functionality, allowing your administrators to easily update and manage the content of your web site. Highlighted capabilities include: • Browser -based control of your content where site administrators can contribute content to the site Archive previous versions of content, so that previous versions of content may be reinstated on the site at any time • Update content and immediately post it to your site 24/7 access to your content and the ability to update anytime, on any speed modem Ease of use for non-technical stakeholders • Control the format of your text - format text into a bulleted list, create a link, insert pictures or tables - all with the click of a mouse Following are the modules that City of Grapevine will utilize to update the site: ElementumTm Professional Elementum Professional offers the flexibility to accommodate your ever-changing environment. You determine who will update your web site, and grant them access to the entire site or even limit their access to a specified area of a single page. It's in your hands. As your organization grows and changes, you may assign levels of administrators to edit, review, and approve all content before it goes live. Or, you may have one person in all three roles. City of Grapevine will utilize ElementumTm Professional to manage your web site and assign content editors, or administrators. After a short training session, non-technical stakeholders will have the skills to administer the web site. City of Grapevine will choose a global administrator who may grant access to additional administrators, and may assign each administrator with specific access to update certain sections of the web site. In order to administer the site, users with granted access will login to an administration system and choose which area they wish to update. The system will display the unique sections and content on the chosen area for them to administer. ElementumTm provides a scalable site management system that enables site administrators to add and manage users as well as control the placement of modules throughout the site. Approval Manager - allows administrators to assign approvers for your content to insure that proper content goes live. User Manager - Allows the global administrator to add, edit, and delete user access to the administration system. Each user will have a unique user ID and password. In addition, user accounts may be disabled if no longer needed. Define group membership for users and assign permissions to groups. Navigation Tree - Add a new page to the site and automatically update the navigation. 4217-0503001 City of Grapevine Texas: Web Site Re -Design Proposal 18 Proprietary and Confidential: This document and any material or information contained herein should not be released or otherwise disclosed to any third party without the prior written approval of Imaginuity Interactive, Inc. Clarification and acknowledgment of these assumptions is important to shaping this engagement. These assumptions must be confirmed and accepted by all parties. Any adaptation to these assumptions could alter the estimated project approach, staffing level, cost, and potentially the timeline. These assumptions are considered very carefully in estimating the project scope. It is assumed that the client agrees to the estimated timeline for the project and the final timeline will be presented by the Project Manager and approved by the client, The success of this project is based upon Imaginuity and the client meeting delivery dates. All resources are available in a predetermined window; therefore, not meeting dates impacts our ability to deliver the project on time. Clients may be charged an additional fee for delaying the project. This proposal of services is based on existing information. This does not cover the cost of additional custom application development, stock photography, copywriting, copyediting, or other programming needs. Methodology City of Grapevine agrees to use the Imaginuity project management approach for this engagement. By accepting this approach, City of Grapevine accepts responsibility for the requirements needed to utilize this approach, will promote the use of the approach, and will provide necessary internal support for the duration of the project. Management City of Grapevine will provide a project sponsor who will work with the Imaginuity project manager to ensure information is provided in a timely and accurate manner. For this project, the major portion of the work will be completed at the Imaginuity offices in Dallas. If the project location is changed or other sites are included, the impact of the change will be assessed at that time. Changes in the Project Scope Imaginuity's current understanding of the scope of work has been defined by this estimate. Any changes to the scope of this project will require the client to fill out a Change Order. The alteration of the scope of a project can cause changes in the project plan, delivery schedule, and costs. Due to the issues involved with such changes, it is an industry standard, that a client completes a written Change Order. That way, we are required to inform you of added costs or delays, and you are required to authorize them in writing. Please be aware that it is important for the client to process change orders in a timely manner so as not to delay or endanger the project timeline. We will make this process as simple as possible using e-mails, FAX, or overnight mail so as not to delay the project any more than necessary. Although we normally do not find a need to charge our clients for repetitive development of Change Orders, we do reserve the right to charge the client for the time and expense required if the client repeatedly requests but does not approve Change Orders. 4217-0503001 City of Grapevine Texas: Web Site Re -Design Proposal za Proprietary and Confidential: This document and any material or information contained herein should not be released or otherwise disclosed to any third party without the prior written approval of Imaginuity Interactive, Inc.
