BACKGROUND: The applicant is requesting a one day (4 -5 -hour) event to be held on July 23, 2005 located at 3400 and 3480 Grapevine Mills Parkway and platted as Lot 1B, Lot 2B, Grapevine Vineyard Addition respectively. Lot 1B is the site of the Ashley Furniture Home Store, and is 4.336 acres. Lot 2B is a vacant lot directly north of Lot 1 B and is 6.174 acres in size. This event is anticipated to draw a maximum attendance of 1500 people. A 9,000 square foot tent will be erected on the vacant lot addressed as 3480 Grapevine Mills Parkway, and portable toilet facilities will be provided. There will also be live entertainment, as well as a radio remote broadcast station. Attached are copies of the application, site plan, liability insurance, as well as a detailed description of the event, including emergency contingency preparations.
