Consider The Grapevine Mills Grading Contract and take any necessary action. 2. Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute right-of-way documents relative to Anderson-Gibson Road and a storm drainage easement for The Grapevine Mills site; and consider a resolution authorizing a signage easement dedication and take any necessary action. Tate Mayor Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem Sharron Spencer Council Member C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member Clydene Johnson Council Member Roy Stewart Council Member constituting a quorum, with Council Member Jerry L. Pittman absent, with the following members of the City Staff: Trent Petty City Manager Roger Nelson Assistant City Manager Stan Lowry Assistant City Attorney Linda Huff City Secretary Christopher Hooper Assistant to City Manager CALL TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. INVOCATION Council Member C. Shane Wilbanks delivered the Invocation. ITEM 1 CONTRACT GRAPEVINE MILLS GRADING PROJECT, SOUTHERN STATES EQUIPMENT COMPANY City Manager Trent Petty recommended approval of a contract for the Grapevine Mills Grading Project to the lowest and best bidder meeting specifications, Southern States Equipment Company, in the amount of 52,492,370.00. Council Member Stewart, seconded by Council Member Johnson, offered a motion to approve as recommended. The motion prevailed by the following vote: 07/09/96 Ayes : Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Johnson & Stewart Nays : None Absent : Pittman ITEM 2. RESOLUTION, AUTHORIZE RIGHT-OF-WAY DOCUMENTS, ANDERSON- GIBSON ROAD AND STORM DRAIN EASEMENT RESOLUTION, AUTHORIZE SIGNAGE EASEMENT DEDICATION GRAPEVINE MILLS PROJECT City Manager Petty requested approval of a resolution authorizing execution of a right-of-way dedication document dedicating a variable width right-of-way across the front of the future fire station site located on Anderson-Gibson road, execution of a right-of-way dedication document accepting the dedication of a variable width right-of-way from Hunt Building Corporation for the construction of Anderson-Gibson Road, and execution of a storm drainage easement dedication document accepting the dedication of a variable width storm drainage easement from Hunt Building Corporation for the construction of the Storm Drainage Outfall System to serve the Grapevine Mills site. City Manager Petty also requested approval of a resolution authorizing execution of a signage easement dedication document accepting the dedication of a signage easement for the purpose of erecting identification and advertising signage for the Grapevine Mills property and the Gateway Development parcel. Mayor Pro Tem Ware, seconded by Council Member Spencer, offered a motion to adopt the resolutions as recommended by the City Manager. The motion prevailed by the following votes: Ayes : Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Johnson & Stewart Nays : None Absent : Pittman RESOLUTION NO. 96-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SIGNAGE EASEMENT DOCUMENT ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF A SIGNAGE EASEMENT FROM GATEWAY CENTER ASSOCIATES, IN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE 2 07/09/96 RESOLUTION N0. 96-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT DOCUMENT DEDICATING A VARIABLE WIDTH STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ACROSS THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF THE FUTURE CITY OF GRAPEVINE FIRE STATION SITE ON ANDERSON GIBSON ROAD, A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT DOCUMENT ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A VARIABLE WIDTH STREET RIGHT-OF- WAY FOR ANDERSON GIBSON ROAD, A STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT DOCUMENT ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF A STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT SERVING THE MALL SITE, IN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE ADJOURNMENT Council Member Johnson, seconded by Council Member Spencer, offered a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:35 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Johnson & Stewart Nays : None Absent : Pittman PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 2oth day of August , 1996.
