HARDY, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES JULY 20, 2004 EXTENSION OF CONDITIONAL USE CU03-19 UNDERWATER WORLD Staff has received a request from Mr. Erik Pedersen of U. S Aquarium Team, Inc. requesting a one-year extension to his previously approved Conditional Use Permit to allow the development of a tunnel -based aquarium with the possession, storage, retail sale, and on -premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine and mixed drinks) in conjunction with a restaurant in the outparcel area of the Grapevine Mills Mall. Staff recommends the City Council consider a one-year extension of this conditional use permit. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Conditional Use Request CU03-19 was originally considered and approved at the July 15, 2003 joint public hearing.
