CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION Z04-13
Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council accept the
applicant's request to withdraw Zone Change Application Z04-13 and take any other
action necessary.
BACKGROUND:
A zone change application was submitted by Mr. Frank Bayley for property addressed as
2604 Hall -Johnson Road, located at the northwest corner of Hall -Johnson Road and
Heritage Avenue. This 6.1 acre tract is currently zoned "R-20" Single Family District. Mr.
Bayley had intended to rezone 1.6 acres of this tract to "R-7.5" Single Family District and
the remaining 4.5 acres to "PO" Professional Office District. Due to the overwhelming
negative response to this request by the surrounding neighborhood/property owners, the
applicant has decided to withdraw the request. See the attached letter.
