HISTORIC LANDMARK SUBDISTRICT APPLICATION HL04-03
Staff recommends the Planning and .Zoning Commission and the City Council table
Historic Landmark Subdistrict Application HL04-03 to the December 21, 2004 meeting
and take any other action necessary.
BACKGROUND:
A request by the City of Grapevine to establish a Historic Landmark Subdistrict
designation on property addressed at 1331 West Wall Street and platted as Block 1,
Dellwood Acres was scheduled for the November 16, 2004 meeting. The Historic
Preservation Commission at their November 10, 2004 meeting tabled the hearing that
would establish the preservation criteria for the Henry Hiram Yancy Farmhouse. The
property owner, Ms. Susan Massey had asked that the case be tabled to the Historic
Preservation Commission's December 15, 2004 meeting. Due to the tabling of the case
by the Historic Preservation Commission, the public hearing before the City Council and
the Planning and Zoning Commission requires tabling to the December 21, 2004
meeting. See the attached letter.
