Dear Mr. Stombaugh: The Hayes Truck Group purchased the land and improvements from Marvin Balvin in the summer of 1998. The use of the property did not change with the new ownership. Hayes Truck Group is presently consolidating their administrative operations in the Dallas -Fort Worth area. The addition to the Grapevine facility will provide the needed office space to absorb the additional administrative staff. There will be no increase to the service shop. The amended conditional use permit will not cause harm to the value, use or enjoyment of other property in the zoning district. The addition will add to the value of the property in the area since the surrounding property is zoned light industrial also. Hayes Truck Group is a valued business in Grapevine. Their involvement in the community and participation in local events shows their desire to be a part of a great city. We respectfully request that the conditional use permit be amended. Sincerely, AXAM. 94t'1'$j Ronald A.
