PUBLIC HEARING
1. Conduct a public hearing relative to Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Crime Control and
Prevention District Budget.
Public Notice: The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of Directors will
consider adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year 2016-2017 budget on
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Council Chambers, 200 South
Main Street.

2. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 meeting and take any necessary
action.

Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m.
Item 1. Conduct a public hearing relative to Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Crime Control and
Prevention District Budget.
Presiding Officer Tate declared the public hearing open.
Chief Financial Officer Greg Jordan reviewed the Crime Control and Prevention District
Fiscal Year 2016-2017 budget. The projected revenues are $14,415,000. The budget
includes eleven new positions to staff the new DPS building and compensation increases.
Presiding Officer Tate invited guests present to speak regarding the proposed budget. No
one wished to speak and there was no correspondence to report.
Motion was made to close the public hearing.
