RESOLUTION NO. CCPD 2011-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL
AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DECLARING THE
RESULTS OF THE MAY 14, 2011 CRIME CONTROL AND
PREVENTION DISTRICT RENEWAL ELECTION AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, a Home Rule Municipality, located in
Tarrant, Dallas and Denton Counties, Texas; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code, the
Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention District Board of Directors duly called an
election on May 14, 2011, for the purpose of presenting to the voters a proposition of
renewing the Crime Control and Prevention District for as permitted and for such
purposes as prescribed under such statute; and
WHEREAS, the Proposition was stated on the ballot as shown in Exhibit "A";
and
WHEREAS, the Tarrant County Election Judge certified the following election
results:

WHEREAS, the results of the crime control and prevention district election, as
canvassed and tabulated above, that said election was conducted in accordance with
the provisions of the Texas Election code and that the proposition passed by a vote of
3114 to 474.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GRAPEVINE CRIME
CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That said election was duly called; that notice of said election was
duly published, and that said election was conducted in accordance with the provisions
of the Texas Election code and that the proposition passed by a vote of 3114 to 474.
Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective from and after the date
of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND
PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS on this the 24th day of May, 2011.
