1. Crime Control and Prevention Distr�ct Temporary Board to canvass the results of
the November 7, 2006 Crime Contr{ol and Prevention District Election, consider a
resolution declaring the results, colnsider the creation of the district and take any
necessary action.

The Crime Control and Prevention DistriGt Temporary Board of the City of Grapevine,
Texas met on this the 15th day of November, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers, Second Floor, 200 South Malin Street, with the following Board members
present to-wit:
William D. Tate Presiding Officer
Ted R. Ware Board Member
C. Shane Wilbanks Board Member
Sharron Spencer Board Member
Clydene Johnson Board Member
Roy Stewart Board Member
Darlene Freed Board Member
constituting a quorum, with the following rrlembers of the City Staff:

Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager

CALL TO ORDER
Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.
ITEM 1. RESOLUTION, CANVASS; CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT ELECTION
RESOLUTION, CREATING �THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND
PREVENTION DISTRICT
City Secretary Linda Huff reported there are 28,014 registered voters in the City as of
November 1, 2006. The Crime Control and Prevention District election was held on
Tuesday, November 7, 2006, with citizens �casting a total of 11,742 votes for the following
proposition:
Proposition Two — Crime Control and Prevention District
For 7,987
Against 3,039
City Secretary Huff recommended approval of a resolution declaring the results of the
Crime Control and Prevention District Election.

Board Member Freed, seconded by Board Member Ware, offered a motion to approve the
resolution declaring the results of the election. The motion prevailed by the following votes :
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Wilbanks, Spencer, Johnson, Stewart & Freed
Nays: None
RESOLUTION NO. CCPD 2006-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL
AND PREVENTION DISTRICT TEMPORARY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 7, 2006
CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT ELECTION
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
City Secretary Huff recommended approval of a resolution creating the Grapevine Crime
Control and Prevention District.
Board Member Freed, seconded by Board Member Spencer, offered a motion to approve
the resolution creating the Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention District. The motion
prevailed by the following votes:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Wilbanks, Spencer, Johnson, Stewart & Freed
Nays: None
RESOLUTION NO. CCPD 2006-05
A RESOLUTION OF THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL
AND PREVENTION DISTRICT TEMPORARY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
HAVING CANVASSED THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER
7, 2006 CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
ELECTION HEREBY ESTABLISHES THE CREATION OF
SAID DISTRICT AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE :
ADJOURNMENT
Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Stewart, offered a motion to adjourn
the meeting at 5:05 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Wilbanks, Spencer, Johnson, Stewart & Freed
Nays: None
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT BOARD MEETING OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 28th day
