CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS SECOND FLOOR 200 SOUTH MAIN STREET CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC HEARING 1. Conduct a public hearing relative to Fiscal Year 2010 - 2011 Crime Control and Prevention District Budget and take any necessary action. 2. Consider the minutes of the September 8, 2009 meeting and take any necessary action. In accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.001 et seq, Acts of the 1993 Texas Legislature, the Crime Control and Prevention District Board of Directors Meeting Agenda was prepared and posted on this the 3rd day of September, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Linda Huff City Secretary ; STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on this the 7th day of September, 2010 at 7:25 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 200 South Main Street, with the following Board members present to-wit: William D. Tate Presiding Officer C. Shane Wilbanks Board Member Sharron Spencer Board Member Roy Stewart Board Member Darlene Freed Board Member Mike Lease Board Member Chris Coy Board Member constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City Staff: Bruno Rumbelow City Manager Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager H. T. Hardy Assistant City Manager John F. Boyle, Jr. City Attorney Linda Huff City Secretary CALL TO ORDER Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. ITEM 1. PUBLIC HEARING, CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 BUDGET Prnsi�;in5 Offi!;er Tate declared the public hearing open. Administrative�arvices Director John McGrane reviewed the Crime Control and Prevention Distric;� FiscGl l�'ear 2010-2011 Budget noting that total revenues are projected at $12,64�,000.(�0 with total expenditures projected to be$12,237,027.00. Expenditures are �r�jected to �e 2% less than the current year, with the only increase in Capital Outlay for ±he cnmmer�ial vehicle program and an increase in the TMRS fund. There is a $�7�,O�JC.�O, or 1.6%, decrease in revenues projected for next year from the 1/2 cent sales tax. Presiding Officer Tate invited guests present to speak regarding the proposed budget. No one wished to speak and there was no correspondence to report. Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Stewart, offered a motion to close the public hearing. The motion prevailed by the following vote: 09/07/10 �.,: Ayes: Tate. Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy Nays: None Presiding Officer Tate stated that final action on the budget will be taken at a special meeting on September 14, 2010. ITEM 2. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES City Secretary Huff recommended approval of the minutes of the September 8,2009 Crime Control and Prevention District Board meeting as published. Board Member Freed, seconded by Board MemberLease,offered a motion to approve the minutes as published. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy Nays: None ADJOURNMENT Board Member Wilbanks, seconded by Board Member Lease, offered a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:34 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote: : *.
