SUBJECT: RESOLUTION EXPANDING GRAPEVINE HERITAGE
FOUNDATION ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERSHIP
RECOMMENDATION
Consider a resolution amending the membership of the Grapevine Heritage Foundation
Advisory Board by the addition of two positions that will represent area businesses
regardless of residency.
BACKGROUND
The Heritage Foundation Advisory Board currently has 11 members. The Council sub-
committee responsible for this portion of the citizen board appointment process desires to
expand the membership on the Board by two with the stipulation that these additional
positions be reserved for the Foundation's business members regardless of whether or not
they are Grapevine residents. The Heritage Foundation membership will be informed of
the opportunity to be appointed to the Board as business members with appointments
following later.
Council Member Johnson, liaison to the Board, recommends the expanded membership
in the manner described in the attached resolution.
