Consider a resolution approving the City of Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action. 3. STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Crime Control and Prevention District Board of the City of Grapevine, Texas met on this the 6th day of September, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 200 South Main Street, with the following Board members present: William D. Tate Presiding Officer Sharron Spencer Board Member Mike Lease Board Member Chris Coy Board Member Duff O'Dell Board Member Paul Slechta Board Member constituting a quorum, with Board Member Darlene Freed absent, and the following members of the City Staff: Bruno Rumbelow Jennifer Hibbs John F. Boyle, Jr. Tara Brooks Greg Jordan Eddie Salame Mike Hamlin City Manager Assistant City Manager City Attorney City Secretary Chief Financial Officer Police Chief Assistant Police Chief Presiding Officer Tate called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. Item 1. Citizen Comments. No one spoke during the Citizen Comments. Item 2. Consider a resolution approving the City of Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action. Chief Financial Officer Greg Jordan presented this item to the Board noting the proposed budget is $14,288,193. The budget proposes using $1,066,177 to fund eleven new positions for the new Public Safety building and lowering the sales tax projection. Motion was made to approve the resolution approving the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Crime Control and Prevention District budget. Motion: Coy Second: Lease Ayes: Tate, Spencer, Lease, Coy, O'Dell and Slechta Nays: None Approved: 6-0 RESOLUTION NO. CCPD 2016-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD ADOPTING AND PROPOSING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2016 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,2017; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE Item 3. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 and August 16, 2016 Board meetings and take any necessary action. Motion was made to approve the minutes from the September 15, 2015 and August 16, 2016 meetings.
