In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments. NEW BUSINESS 2. Consider a resolution approving the Grapevine 413 Economic Development Corporation Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action. 3. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 Grapevine 4B Economic Development Corporation meeting and take any necessary action. STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Grapevine 4B Economic Development Corporation of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session on this the 6th day of September, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 200 South Main Street, with the following members present: William D. Tate President Sharron Spencer Board Member Chris Coy Board Member Cory Halliburton Board Member Kirby Kercheval Board Member constituting a quorum, with Board Member Darlene Freed absent, with the following members of the City Staff: Bruno Rumbelow City Manager Jennifer Hibbs Assistant City Manager John F. Boyle, Jr. City Attorney Tara Brooks City Secretary Greg Jordan Chief Financial Officer CALL TO ORDER President Tate called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Item 1. Citizen Comments No one spoke during the Citizen Comments. Item 2. Consider a resolution approving the Grapevine 4B Economic Development Corporation Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget and take any necessary action. Chief Financial Officer Greg Jordan stated the projected budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 is $13,956,193 which includes the use of $6,418,042 in the reserve fund balance to be used for the commuter rail train station construction project. Motion was made to approve the resolution approving the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget. Motion: Coy Second: Spencer Ayes: Tate, Spencer, Coy, Halliburton, and Kercheval Nays: None Approved: 5-0 RESOLUTION NO. 4B 2016-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE GRAPEVINE 4B ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, ADOPTING AND PROPOSING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2016 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,2017; PROVIDING FOR INVESTMENT OF CERTAIN FUNDS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE Item 3. Consider the minutes of the September 15, 2015 Grapevine 4B Economic Development Corporation meeting and take any necessary action. City Secretary Tara Brooks recommended approval of the minutes from the September 15, 2015 meeting. Motion was made to approve the minutes as presented.
