SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD
RECOMMENDATION:
Consider appointment of one citizen to the Senior Citizens Advisory Board for a one-
year term.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
At the September 5, 2000 City Council meeting, citizen appointments were made to the
Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Harlan Jewett was appointed for a one-year term,
but has since resigned the appointment due to health reasons.
Attached are the applications received at the time the notice was printed in the
Grapevine Sun, the Fort Worth Star Telegram and the Dallas Morning News and posted
at City Hall, Senior Activities Center and the City's web site. Also attached is the current
Senior Citizens Advisory Board membership.
